I had an expensive equitation type western saddle that my horse did not move well in at all.....so I sold it and bought this saddle because I liked its looks, balance and the flexible tree....my horse moves in it as if he had no saddle on....it's amazing......he is very, very comfortable in it and we even do lateral work in it !

Hi Continental Gang, I just wanted to let you know how much I love my #135 that I purchased in June of 05. I bought it for my then 2 year old QH gelding...he was long and lean and lanky at the time, and I had to get a pretty thick wool pad to help with saddle fit. However, it was evident from the beginning that the fit of the tree was just right, he just had to fill out some. Well this saddle was broken in almost overnight, while still preserving the "brand new" look. People at my barn constantly come up and ask about the saddle because it's gorgeous. It's a lot lighter than my old Circle Y and fits MUCH better, I frankly always find my cinch isn't that snug as I ride but because the saddle does not slip, I don't always notice! My gelding probably appreciates that. He's filled out and grown a ton as he's coming 3 this spring and now the saddle fit is almost perfect. (he no longer looks like a saddle with legs, you can actually see the horse.) The saddle and leather are beautiful and it's a pleasure to ride in every day. | I LOVE MY SADDLE and so does STANLEY !!! (thats my horse, Little Peppy Page) it's prefect. Stanley was forward and round ... when asked for shoulder in, hunches in, half pass, counter canter followed by super lead change, he did all wonderfully. When we did our cantering circles, the saddle stays in the center (me too) and comfortably moves with my horse. I could not ask for anything more. Thank You Continental Saddlery!! A couple of my friends saw the saddle last night and thought it was really cool! I of course gave them the web site. Sincerely Janine, Snohomish, WA :-) :-) the second smiley is from my horse.
